Cancellation Policy for Workshops and Seminars

1. Notice

Cancellation must be sent in text form, preferably to info@energoinformatics.com. The time of receipt is decisive.

2. Charges for paid events

• 14 or more calendar days before the event: free of charge;
• 13–7 days: 50% of the total price;
• 6–2 days: 75%;
• from 1 day before the event or no-show: 100%.

Saved expenses and successful resale of the place are taken into account. Participants may prove that no loss or a substantially lower loss occurred. EnergoInformatics may prove a higher actual loss.

3. Deposit

Any deposit is credited against the cancellation charge. Excess payments are refunded; any remaining difference remains payable.

4. Substitute participant

A suitable substitute may be named free of charge before the event, provided participation requirements are met. Name and email address must be supplied.

5. Rebooking

Rebooking may be offered subject to availability and individual agreement; there is no entitlement.

6. Free events

No cancellation fee is charged, but early notice is requested.

7. Illness and personal impediments

Illness, travel problems or other personal impediments generally remain the participant’s risk. Goodwill arrangements may be offered without creating a precedent.

8. Organiser cancellation

If EnergoInformatics cancels, all event fees paid are refunded. If postponed, the booking can be transferred or cancelled free of charge.

9. Withdrawal rights

Any statutory right of withdrawal remains unaffected. See the withdrawal notice.
